On going at St. Vincent de Paul

A Big Thank You to FastSigns in Bloomington as they prepared A-frame board signs for our latest Free Food Event. The signs look great! FastSign was wonderful to work with and gave us a substantial discount.

Home Visits:This past month our home visit team assisted five families with rental, gas, and car repair assistance.

Free Food Giveaway: On Saturday September 14th, we hosted our free food giveaway where we had 160 cars and provided food to approximately 265 families. Families received chicken or fish, milk, bread, potatoes, apples, green peppers, corn, garlic and a small bag of drygoods.

Food Donation Baskets: Are now located under the bulletin tables at the north and south entrance of the church. We are in constant need of dry and canned goods. Please remember to check the expiration dates on your items before donating as we cannot hand out expired items.
