Home Visits: Over the past month our home visit team assisted seven families with rental, gas, and a car accident insurance claim.
Free Food Giveaway: On Saturday October 12th, we hosted our free food giveaway where we had 175 cars and walk ups and provided food to 298 families. Families received chicken, hamburger, or fish, milk, bread, potatoes, apples, cucumbers, corn, plums, squash, garlic and a small bag of drygoods. Special thanks to all of our volunteers who help with the giveaway!!
Food Donation Baskets: Are located under the bulletin tables at the north and south entrance of the church. With winter approaching we are in need of dry and canned goods. Please remember to check the expiration dates on your items before donating as we cannot hand out expired items.
Upcoming Events: The Nativity of Mary 4th grade class is working together with St. Vincent de Paul by doing a Socktober service project. They are collecting New Children and Adult socks for those in our community. If you would like to support this project socks can be placed in our Food Donation Baskets from now until October 31st. Thank you for your consideration.
