On Going at SVDP

September 27 th is the feast day of Saint Vincent de Paul. Annually, we reflect on the ways the Lord has blessed our Conference. The biggest gifts are serving our neighbors in need and the support of this parish. We ask that you consider whether the Lord is asking you to help us serve others in this important ministry. St. Vincent saw the great need of his neighbors, and he acted to help. Frederick Ozanam followed after him and continued this ministry which then spread around the world. We too see a need in our neighbors and have reached out to help them through our Free Food
Giveaway and our Home Visit Ministry. The Home Visits allow us to visit our neighbors in their homes and discuss their needs with them.
We will have an information table in the gathering space after all the Masses on October 4th & 5th. We would love to share the joy of this service with you.
What options do you have to help?

1. Come to our Free Food Giveaway the second and fourth Saturdays of the month and see the amazing volunteers serve our neighbors with joy, laughter, friendship and food!
2. Come the Friday before the two monthly events and help pack the food that we prepare for our neighbors.
3. Talk to our volunteers at Church on October 4th & 5th after Mass.
4. Come to a SVdP conference meeting and find out more.
5. Donate canned and dry goods to the baskets at the back of the Church.
6. Donate money to the ministry. We can’t help those in need without your financial help.

Checks can be made out to SVdP Nativity of Mary Conference. There will also be a donation container at the information table after the October 4th & 5th Masses. Alternatively, you can drop your checks off at the Church office or contribute on-line on this site.

7. PRAY for this Nativity of Mary Ministry. Pray for those we serve, and pray for all thevolunteers.

God Bless
